My name is Sandra Tamakloe, I graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 2009, where I am now a Clinic Tutor. I have always been interested in health and fitness from when I was at school. I love the versatility of being able to treat a range of patients from as young as a week old through to patients in their 90s.
I use a range of treatments varying, but not limited to structural, cranial, dry needling, and visceral techniques.
I love treating babies who can present with various issues and I also enjoy working with prenatal and postnatal patients, helping ensure ‘core’ restoration, particularly Diastasis Recti and providing exercises to help with this.
I have a keen interest in treating sports injuries which led me to complete a Masters in Sports Therapy and rehabilitation in 2013. I have trained with APPI in Pilates which is more rehabilitative to help patients particularly those with lower back and upper back issues.
I teach classes locally and also offer 1:1 assessments and sessions in the clinic.
I am a firm believer in self-help and will equip patients with advice, exercises and stretches to work on alongside their treatment. I am also a member of the faculty at the European School of Osteopathy as a Clinic Tutor as well as in the Research Department where I have been involved in publishing research.
In my spare time, I love listening to audiobooks and podcasts, going to the gym and spending time with my husband and very energetic sons building dens, bike-riding, woodland walks and anything adventurous!
